my Apple TV subscription did not get extended with another free year by buying a new Mac

Last year I bought the iPhone 11 Pro with one year free Apple TV+, this subscription got extended until the 28th of Feb 2021 due to Covid-19. I just bought a new MacBook Air which should be eligible for another free one year, but this does not reflect in my subscriptions overview. It still says 28th of Feb 2021.
