icloud tabs are not syncing in big sur

i realized yesterday, that the tabs from my macbook are not syncing to my iphone and ipad.

now i also saw that my "mobile" tabs are not on the mac anymore.

i have tried the following:

- restart of Safari on all affected devices

- restart of all affected devices

- disabling iCloud sync for Safari on all devices.

MacBook Pro 13″, 11.0

Im now experiencing exactly the same problem - my iPad & iPhone tabs were originally showing on big sur safari and when I clicked to close one of the ones showing as open on my iPhone the whole lot disappeared from big sur safari

Tabs are now not sync'ing across my iPhone and iPad now either. On all three devices only the tabs open in those instances of Safari are there, and none of the usual lists below showing open on the other devices.

As with the original poster I've tried all the advice given online for this issue i.e. toggling safari sync on and off under iCloud settings on all three devices, force quitting all device instances of safari & signing in and out of iCloud on all devices. All to no avail.

For everyone looking at switching browsers, give the new Firefox a whirl. They have made huge strides in performance on the Mac, and it's now M1 native as well. They are very user centric when it comes to privacy, and there are tons of tweaks available in about:config. Oh, and tab/history syncing always works.

I ran the SpeedTest benchmark yesterday on my new M1 Mac, and it's neck and neck with Chrome while using less CPU and RAM on your Mac. Safari is still the fastest, which is expected given it's close development with the OS team at Apple, but Firefox is a great browser that's worth a look.

Lastly, be sure to check out https://chromeisbad.com for tips on why and how to remove Chrome from your Mac, when you're ready.

Like everyone else, exact same problem. Since Big Sur none of the tabs from my other devices will show up in iCloud any longer. They work between the Phone and iPads but nothing shows up on my MacBook Pro, I have to resort to Air Dropping each tab one by one to my MacBook and vice versa. This is a huge inconvenience and drain on productivity. I can't believe Apple has not addressed this bug yet.

It's incredulity disappointing that Apple has not addressed this issue months ago. On Macrumors (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/icloud-tabs-not-syncing.2266397/page-26) there are 26 pages of posts complaining about the same problem of iCloud Tabs not working. For me, my M1 MacBook Air with Big Sur 11.1, iPad Pro with iPad OS 14.3 and iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.3 all have no iCloud tabs at all. Similarly "mobile" tabs are not on the mac anymore nor can I see tabs of Mac on any mobile device. Tries all solutions from Apple Support still not solved.

Please please please if anybody at Apple can look at this issue for such a disastrous problem persisting for such a abhorrent long time.

Its a plus 1 from me......

My cloud tabs were spurious since Big (bug!?) sur, I have 4 devices, iMac, MacBook, iPhone 12 and iPad pro.

The iMac stopped syncing, and then the iPad pro, strangely up until today the MacBook and iPhone 12 were still "ok".

Until I called apple, they got me to do all the normal stuff of signing out, unticking cloud sync etc and now, no device syncs the tabs :(

They say they are aware of the issue, but this has been over a month now :/
