iPhone 8 not making text alert noise
Hi
my wife’s iPhone 8 will not make a text alert noise when I or another friend text her. However it does when my daughter texts her and also when I text her in our family group text Any ideas

Have her check the two that she does not get notifications for and see if Hide Alerts is turned on. Have her open the text, then tap on the name at the top, then tap Info, and she should see the setting for Hide Alerts. If it is on, turn it off.
