my mac book pro 2015 does not show allow apple watch unlock option. I had just updated to big sur & even in the previous catalina it won't show that option. I tried following the discussed fix on this post but to no avail. Tried checking two factor Authentication done, unpair & paired back to my iPhone done but with the same result. I just bought apple watch 6.
Update to watchOS 7.1, as it has a fix for unlocking Macs
If that does not work, it should, but if it does not work, then read the following threads

I also found that it took awhile for the iCloud Keychain records to propagate and merge on all the systems. More so when you have multiple devices sharing the keychain (I have 4 Macs, the iPhone, and the Apple Watch). I followed both of the above threads, but it was not reliably working until the next day, when I tried again. And I did have to click the enable check box twice the next day, but then it stuck.
And this thread says they also had to toggle the Apple Watch -> Settings -> Siri -> Listen for "Hey Siri" option off then on

Finder -> Go menu -> ~/Library/Sharing/AutoUnlock
System Preferences -> iCloud -> Keychain

thanks for the replies to my query, I fools them but still unfortunate to fix the problem. it took me some time to reply. Any other fix you can give would be highly appreciated. After doing the steps on the thread the screen shot below showing no option for "apple watch unlock".
By the way i already updated to mac os Big Sur 11.1
