Auto Unlock with Apple Watch not Available (Apple Watch SE, MacBook Air 2020 M1)

The option to Auto Unlock my Mac with my Apple Watch is not showing in the Touch ID and Password panel in System Settings.

Some relevant points:

I've restarted my macbook, iphone, and apple watch
I've reset my apple id password
I've deleted all Auto unlock entries in my keychain manager
2fa is enabled for my apple id
system information confirms Auto Unlock is supported under wifi
MacBook Air M1 2020, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1
Apple Watch SE, WatchOS 9.1

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I had this exact same issue and contacted apple support.

I was able to fix it by un-pairing the Apple Watch from my iPhone and then re-pairing it.

This forced it to reconnect to the apple account and it then linked to the Mac correctly.

In Monterey it's under Privacy & Security. Sorry-- I don't know about Ventura.

You are looking in the right location for the setting in Ventura. It's there in Ventura for me and works with my Apple Watch. I'd reach out to Apple directly for more guidance.
