MacBook Air Storage space

My Mac has 121Gb capacity. All my files are on the cloud and the image has just 10Gb used, but the disc has less than 14.7 available... How can I clear up all this "other" 53Gb of used space?

Please help me.

Thank you very much Mr. Phillips I was looking forward to install Big Sur but yes this came up!

Let's say that I get rid of my Gmail image and that will be only 10 GB and the new software requires 20+ GB

So... I'm lost in space... :/

Should I go to a Mac store and reload everything...? As new... All my planet is up in my Gmail, so I don't mind erasing everything... What do you think?

Thank you for image of your situation re: Empty Space available. The New OS 11 sees 13.95 GB empty space right now and asking for Addition 20.06 GB so that means minimum of 35 GB needs to be available before it can proceed. Do you think you can achieve this?

If not, one could go an Apple Store and wipe the drive and install the Newest macOS. OR, if you are certain that loosing everything is the route, it can be done by you.

Fantastic my dear friend I was not aware that I could do this from home!

Now there is to get an appointment is pretty pretty hazardous and time is money so I think I'm going to do this tomorrow Saturday and refresh everything on my computer.

As mentioned since I have everything on the cloud I will just need to installed a couple of personal apps again but that's basically it...

Thank you Mr. Phillips I do appreciate.
