Does iTunes Match move your local music files?
I organise my music files outside the Apple Music library folder. If I subscribe to iTunes Match will the local music files and folder structure be impacted in any way?

No. iTunes Match only matches or uploads any music in your iTunes / Music app library as is, it does not modify the location or structure of the music files.
If the iTunes / Music application sees all your music, then it just gets matched or uploaded. Whatever is not seen by the iTunes / Music app will not get matched or uploaded.

Thanks Phil0124 - So, my local music library remains as is in terms of the structure on the hard drive and all the smart playlists in Music remain fully functional? I read somewhere that all my smart playlists will not work on another device using iTunes Match because they are localised to the iMac.
