IPad

I am trying to set up my IPAD and its telling me:

Your IPad could not be activated because the Activation server is temporarily unavailable.Try Connecting your IPad to iTunes to Activate it, Or try again in a couple minutes

I have tried to connect with my iPhone and this is giving me the same massage need your help to Activate it please

Those instructions are supposed to work with the iPad as well. If necessary, contact Apple Support.
