iPhone on wireless charger while connected via USB to CarPlay

I just switched from android to iPhone. Picked up a 12 Pro Max and love it so far. I drive a new Kia Soul that has CarPlay and it's far superior to android auto. My Kia has small shelf under the stereo that is a Qi compliant wireless charger and it's the perfect spot for your phone while driving. I'm worried that charging via Qi and USB at same time might not be cool. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I can turn the Qi charger off but I'd like to leave it on in the event that others are riding in the car and need a charge.
