TurboTax 2020 on my iMac -- Installation

I am unable to load TurboTax 2020 on my iMac (2015 4K) running MacOS 11.01 Big Sur. Is this a gatekeeper problem or what and how do I overcome this? Or is this a screw up by Intuit? How do I get this software to work?

I attempted to load TT 2020 on my MBA with M1 and 2019 iMac with Big Sur. Very slow to load from the CD. Took about 30 min. I also loaded on a Mac with Mojave and took about 5 min. Big Sur really slows things down. I attempted to used the download from the Web but TT would not permit the download. (kept stating it was already associated with another account).

That is incorrect. Intuit still owns and publishes TurboTax. The Mac version was MacInTax which sold its program to Intuit about 15 to 20 years ago. I think this is a gatekeeper question or lack of certification by Apple, since the application is purchased from Intuit and not the Apple Store. I need a way around this or some way to hound Intuit.
