Mac Mini (M1) dual display doesn't work.

is anyone using a display link adapter?

are you using this for just one monitor, or plugging in multiple monitors to this?

I've seen people doing that online. I tried a Pluggable USB3 Hub with DisplayLink but without success. I got the same flashing black screens.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I'm using the Mac Mini HDMI port for the main display. The VAVA hub is for the secondary display only. Both monitors are ViewSonic VA2456-MHD (1920x1080).

lukethesky, what brand adapter were they? the one I posted above says it supports m1

The adapter you mention does not solve tbe issue

USB-C to DP alone won’t work unfortunately. Many here tried it before.

I'm not sure the spec of HDMI cable I am using to be honest. I bought it from random shop few years ago.

Monitors are two identical HP Z27n monitor with resolution of 2560x1440.

A follow-up to my earlier post. I just finished the install of Big Sur 11.2 Beta 2 and it DID NOT include any kind of fix for this issue unfortunately.

Now I tried a USB-C to Mini-DP Adapter (connected to a Mini-DP to DP cable) and nothing has changed. So don’t waste your money on that.

I just ordered this device from Plugable to see if it will work.

Not sure if anyone else has had experience using this?

@jayfoxuk if it helps I have that exact Plugable device and tried it a couple days ago without any success.
