Hi. I want to purchase a 23.8-inch Full HD monitor with an integrated webcam which is fully compatible with my new Apple Mac mini (M1, 2020). Is there any recommended monitor?
I found a few monitors on the web, which I can't be sure if they are fully compatible:
Mac mini 2018 or later
Personal opinion here - you are better off getting a dedicated monitor with USB ports and running a webcam to the top of the monitor. The integrated camera/monitors you are paying more for less monitor. The Dell one you are looking at is 1080P, at 24" I wouldn't go any smaller than 1440P resolution.
I love my 27" Dell USB-C. I have a 1080P Aukey Webcam plugged in on top from Amazon.
Have you tested a Dell monitor with a built-in webcam with a Mac computer?
Is your monitor the Dell P2418HZ? Does its built-in webcam work with your Mac? Did you find any Mac OS driver for this monitor/webcam?
