Recently Deleted folder for Notes

If a note is deleted, it is placed in the Recently Deleted notes folder; and can be recovered from that location within 30 days of its deletion. HOWEVER, if the entire contents of a note are deleted, the note "disappears". How does one recover a mangled note? Time Machine must provide a way to do this, but how?

Hello Steve_in_SB,

It sounds like you're experiencing some issues with deleted notes and have questions about using Time Machine to recover. We will be happy to help you.

If you have a backup of the note, you can try recovering it using Time Machine. To use Time Machine to restore items, have a look at this article:

Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac

If this article doesn't help, then the note may not be recoverable.

We do hope this helps.

Cheers!
