Weather widget

When I read thru the highlights of Big Sur on Apple's page I noticed this:

But all I see is this, is there a way to see the minute by minute rain and government alerts? I've tried the medium and large widgets.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Where's the old weather app? I feel ridiculous asking, but— where did the weather app go in Big Sur? Weather metrics beyond Temperature in MacOS weather app The iOS versions of the new Weather app provide forecast details on wind, precipitation, UV index, etc. Screen shots of the MacOS weather app suggest that's also available on the MacOS version, but I can't find how to access them. Does anyone know?

Nice of Apple to present two different weather widget interfaces when on Big Sur 11.0.1, and using different hardware architectures. The non-M1 MacBook Air shows the OP's version. Does the M1 version allow any customization of the appearance? Who cares about a graph?

No. Different sizes show different info.
