Hi, Ethan.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that the Wi-Fi is disconnecting on your iPad Pro running iPadOS 14, and we’d like to see if we can help solidify your connection.

Have you had a chance to make sure it’s on the latest iPadOS version? If not, go ahead and update. If you’re already on iPadOS 14.2, try restarting both your iPad and your network equipment (e.g. modem, router, etc.) to see if it helps.

  1. Update iPadOS - Apple Support
  2. Restart your iPad - Apple Support
  3. Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
  4. Check to make sure your Wi-Fi is set up with Apple recommendations and make sure you’re not experiencing wireless interference:

If your Wi-Fi is still disconnecting after these steps, try disabling these settings and testing between each to see if it impacts your connection:

  • Settings > Bluetooth
  • Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data > > LTE (you can disable LTE by choosing another band like 3G).
  • Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data > VoLTE

If disabling any of these features improves your Wi-Fi connection it’s time to contact Apple Support for guidance.
