I was hacked on my ipad on fb and now have a white page with my profile pic in the center

Should I delete the FB account and will the hack still be on my new account? Also wondering if other sites on my iPad were compromised.

Hello ReadingtheBook,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

Based on what you mentioned, you believed you were hacked on an iPad. Rest assured that there is tons of security packed in iOS, but if you believe your Apple ID and personal information with Apple was compromised, you'll want to review: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised.

You could try deleting the Facebook application and reinstalling it: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support, however, this may be something more directly related to your Facebook account. In that case, you should reach out to Facebook for support on handling this type of issue: Facebook Help Center | Facebook

There won't be a specific way to tell if other websites were impacted from this, however, if you begin to see any suspicious pop-up windows in Safari, you can follow this guidance: About pop-up ads and windows in Safari - Apple Support. This article also provides helpful tips on keeping your software updated for the best built-in protection on your device, and checking settings and security preferences for Safari.

Best wishes!
