Apple TV asking for password repeatedly

What gives apple? Just rented a movie for my kids and the TV box keeps asking for my password every four seconds!!!!!

where do I go for a refund? Seems to be zero support for Canadians.....

super frustrated

entered my password wrong to ensure I wasn’t putting it in wrong the message changed as expected. Entered it from my phone and on the screen directly.

Please help. They are going to bed soon and maybe if I can get this sorted they can watch it in the morning.... before the rental expires.
