MBP 13" Late 2013 upgrade to macOS Big Sur

I have a Macbook Pro 13" late 2013 and i cant upgrade to macOS Big Sur. Why is that? It says Big Sur still supports late 2013 MBP.

There have been some issues with Big Sur and the 2013 and 2014 model MacBooks.

Try the following and see if it helps:

Unplug all external devices from your Mac, including any displays and

USB accessories, and remove any card inserted in the SDXC card slot and see if that helps. If not see below.

Reset SMC

Now try to see if you are able to get the upgrade. If the issue persists, reset NVRAM or PRAM. Try again after this and hopefully it will allow you to download MacOS Big Sur.

Hope this helps.

I would also give this a try:

Cleanmymac is on your menubar. That is a virus. You will need to remove it with Devontechnologies EasyFind in safe mode (holding the shift key).

All Macpaw, and Zeobit software must be removed. Malwarebytes and/or Avast can help.

There should be no cleaner software on your Mac.

Etrecheck can identify other software that may be malware.

Could not agree more on the "actual source" being the best reference, but sadly, more times than not, the "actual source" is silent. In October, Apple released for Mojave, a Security Update along with a Safari update. Those updates proceeded to make Mojave totally unusable. This went on for days until it was the blogs and second hand sources that brought it to user's attention. The response from the "actual source" was total silence. After three days, Apple pulled the two Mojave updates from the servers. To this very day there has been no explanation or acknowledgment.
