Can I ping my lost iPhone if I did not set up Find my Phone?

I have lost my I-phone and I'm almost positive it's in my house. Can I ping it from my laptop if I did not set up the Find my Phone app?

I don't know what you mean my 'ping'.. but as far as I know, the only 2 ways you can play a sound on the phone to help locate it is if you are using Find My iPhone, or if you have an Apple Watch paired
