AppleCare on transfers within 60 days

If I buy an iPhone from someone else, used, can I still buy AppleCare if it's within the 60 day period of the original buyer's purchase? If so, what would I need to show Apple? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

you will need to provide the serial number for the device you would like covered by AppleCare.
