im testing beta ios 14.3 on iphone 11, just got an upgrade to iphone 12 but it wont allow me to transfer all my data onto my new handset, is this because im using the beta softare on iphone 11? Any ideas on how to tranfer data and apps between the phones tia

I believe you can do it 2 different ways..
1) set up your iPhone 12 as a new iPhone and enroll your new iPhone in beta.. get it updated then erase it and start all over.. this time use Quickstart or one of the other methods to transfer content. Of course it's beta so things might not work as well as a public release.. but those are the risks you take when you sign up for beta
2) restore the new iPhone from the backup that you made and archived before enrolling in beta software (assuming you did this as it's step #1 in the suggested procedure)

You can only restore a backup to another device with the same version os ios
