Keyboard not showing on mail

We understand that the keyboard isn't appearing on your iPhone 11 Pro when you're trying to reply to an email, and we want to help.

To help narrow things down, we'd like to ask several questions.

1. Are you using the Apple Mail app for your email, or another application?
2. Do you experience issues with the keyboard not working or responding as expected when using any other apps? If so, which apps are affected?

Thank you for following up with us, and for letting us know more about the steps you've taken so far.

Just to confirm, when this issue happens, do you ever seen any error messages? If you do see an error message, what does the error say? Does the application appear to stop responding altogether, or does the app continue to respond, and the issue is only with the keyboard not appearing?

Did you have a chance to complete all of the steps in the second article we provided in our initial reply? If so, did those steps help at all?

Since it sounds like the issue is happening with third-party applications as well, can you let us know if all available app updates have been installed? Here are the steps to check for app updates, in case you'd like a reference: Update apps or use automatic downloads

You mentioned that you've already rebooted your iPhone; just to confirm, did you restart it using these steps? Restart your iPhone If so, does restarting help correct the issue temporarily, or is there no change?
