All apps won’t work besides iMessage and phone calls

I have an iPhone XS and all of sudden none of my apps started to work. I thought it was my vpn and internet but everything else is fine on my iPad and MacBook. What gives? How can I solve this.

Two things to try.

Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Shut Down : After the iPhone shuts down then you can restart it and see whether that solves the issue. If NOT then-
Reset Network Settings. Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Reset ➔ Reset Network Settings : Once this action is completed then you have to input the known Wi-Fi Networks' password(s) again. See if this resolves the issue.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

To give some background, after my last reply, it started working on its own, but then my phone died, then I tried your more recent solution, but nothing is working
