com.apple.accounts error 3

I am trying to add my exchange365 account to my iMac mail app and keep getting this error?

Does anyone know how to solve this? My credentials are correct, I have an E3 Office License, (work account), I can add my account to both my iPhone, iPad, successfully. As a side note, I can't add it to the office365 (mac version) outlook app neither. Thank you to anyone who could offer any insight??

I'm now on Big Sur, but had the same issue with Catalina.

I can no longer add an outlook account on my macbook pro Hello, my otulook account(s) stopped working. A pop-up ask me for the password. And it does not accept it (error: unable to verify account name or password). I tried to remove and reinstall it but nothing happen. Check the screenshot attached. I cannot add my Microsoft Exchange and Gmail accounts to Apple Mail. When I want to add one of them, a new pop-up opens stating that authentication needs to be done via browser, then I receive the same error for both: Authentication failed. They were all working fine, until last week, then there were synchronization problems. As I have to change passwords on both accounts. I have removed both accounts to add them again to solve the problem, but not I cannot even add new accounts to Apple mail.

Cant add my OUTLOOK mail Hi! I´ve had my mac since 2013, and always had my outlook mail on it. (on the mac mail app) Recently i got an error that i had to put in my password, but no matter how many times i typed it in, or changed the password and tried again, i still get the same error. "can't verify you mail or password" I´ve logged on to my mail in safari so i know I have the right password. I ended up deleting all my mails from the mac to start over, and now all the accounts works fine, but not my outlook account - what am i doing wrong - or how do i fix it? Thank you in advanced -and garden my english - I'm norwegian!
