If nothing is connected with your phone, the battery percentage is readable on the battery widget.

But if your Apple Watch or AirPods are connected for example te battery percentage is gone, and you can’t see it of any connected device.

Is it possible in an future update to add the battery percentage to all the connected devices on your phone?

On the photo is an example what I mean.
