I got a new phone because my other one stopped working. So I can’t unpair it from my previous phone and it won’t let me pair with my new one.

I am unable to pair my apple watch with my new iPhone 11 because it is still paired to my old phone that does not work.

apple watch can a series 1 apple watch pair with a se second generation? every time i try to pair i get a notification that i’m not connected to the internet, but i am. my phone is updated to the ios 16.2
