apple iphone 12 split screen

Well, seeing as Apple have it on Ipad but not on phone, it is clearly not laziness, but a design decision based on the usefullness of viewing two apps on a small screen.

As ckuan says - if you don't like Apples design decisions, no one is forcing you to buy an iPhone

Different organisations will make different decisions about usability or desirability of features. That is fine - it would be a pointless having alternative products if they all worked exactly the same.

You've made it clear you disagree with Apples decision - that is also fine. You have a choice. Take it.

Oh, and we are all just users here, like you. Apple don't generally come here, so if you are wanting to show them - you'll need to do it elsewhere.

To be fair...even if it’s a cool feature some would like it’s awkward at best on a small screen (even the iPhone 12 pro max would fall under that category). If most wouldn’t want their full screen to be half the size of the current screen then what good would it be to have split screen? On an iPad it’s different (better on the pro iPads ) and makes far more sense because the screen even split on half is bigger than an iPhone. But like mentioned...if it’s that important to you over all of the other improvements (far more than the iPhone 7 so the idea that that new iPhones are the same feature wise and hardware as the iPhone 7 is ludicrous)...then you know to stick with what you have or get the upgraded version of what you have.

Buy Android if split screen is important to you.

iOS do not have that option.

There's quite a few new features on the new iPhone but split screen on a small screen is not one of them.

You can watch video, while doing something else.

Just buy your Android and move on.

I bought iphone 12 hopping to include the split screen, but not this time. Maybe in future we will have a surprise.
