Is there any update as to how to do capitals with an apple pencil? As in the 'apple' in that sentence?

Make sure when you write with your Apple Pencil that the capital, Upper-case letter/s are significantly larger than your smaller, lower-case letters.
If you write your letters too close to the same size, the iPad will not be able to ever distinguish between an upper-case letter or lower-case letter.
i just did a test with my 1st gen Apple Pencil on my older iPad Pro using the basic Apple Notes app and writing capital letters seems to be working just fine.
I, actually, use hand printing of letter forms, instead of cursive writing style, though.
Seems to be working just fine. No issues.

Thanks for your reply, Michael. I am on an Ipad Air, with a 2nd gen Pencil, and I sincerely cannot get capitals on my ipad with that pencil.
