Otterbox Exo Edge watch bump cover

I have just been told you can’t go swimming with the otterbox exo edge on you Apple Watch... so don’t get your watch wet with this cover .. it may invalidate your warranty.. !! Why are apple selling them ..???

Can I claim my Apple Watch under warranty for water damage? my Apple Watch screen has just broken and stays black, I've charged it fully, and it still won't work. I believe it might be due to water damage even though the apple watch is supposed to be waterproof. I've had the apple watch for 8 months now and I did get the screen fixed 2 months in, if I try and claim it under warranty for water damage will I still be able to get it even though I got the screen replaced. We do not recommend swimming with our cases on that device. Directly from otterbox
