I can not see thumbnails in my iMac just JPEG icons

I started using Dropbox and since then all my pictures and documents thumbnails change to JPEG icons.

I sent Dropbox to trash, but no change happened. I try almost everything to go back to my thumbnails whiteout success. I am a photographer and is very important to me that I can see thumbnails.

I run in my iMac an OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6

Help me please

iMac 21.5″, OS X 10.11

Hello, Jcontrerasra.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We can understand how thumbnail previews make navigating your photos much easier.

Use the article below to change the Finder settings:

Change view options in the Finder on Mac

Make sure that "Show Icon Preview" is enabled, then test this out in different view by going to "View" in the menu bar and choosing an option other than the one currently selected.

Let us know what happens! Take care.
