Gray screen with circle. Can get to utilities screen but first aid can’t fix second HD entry. Says it can’t find OS.

Gray screen with circle. Can get to utilities but disk repair can’t find a HD to install new operating system. Think I may need to dump the Impute right and reinstall from back up. Help !!!!q
