My Apple Pay is setup in my wallet. iPhone 12 pro Max. Credit card is verified but when I try to purchase on a website using Apple Pay through the sites Apple Pay button it gives a message-“ Apple Pay is not supported on this site”. Since the site has an Apple Pay button i presume it is supported. how can I fix this?

If you are using Safari as your browser to view these sites, try clearing the cookies and history then trying again: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hi Chuck. I have used Apple Pay many times but this is the first time with my new 12 pro Max . The online store gives the option of I pay, I click the iPay button, I double click the side button to pay and the message that came up was: this site dies not support Apple Pay which makes no sense as their site offered Apple Pay as a payment option.
