Can't set up default voicemail. Error 1035

I cannot set up a default voicemail. When I got a new phone about six months ago my voicemail stopped working and I found out that my IMEI number was messed up. That has since been fixed and the default voicemail works but I now have to set a custom voicemail because my work phone will be transferred to my cell phone starting tomorrow. Does anyone have a resolution for this that does not involve holding down one to set up my voicemail since it’s currently set up.

We see that you're having some trouble getting your voicemail greeting set up. We'd recommend reviewing reviewing the section 'Get help with Visual Voicemail' on the following article:

Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone - Apple Support

If you still run into trouble, we'd recommend that you check with your carrier as they control the voicemail boxes.
