Windows 10 File Explorer Freezes When Trying to open a shared photo album

I have created a number of icloud shared photo albums. I use my PC to load old photos from scans, etc to several shared icloud photo albums. When I click on iCloud Photos in File Explorer the shared photo albums appear in file explorer but when I try to open one or navigate to another album File Explorer seems to be frozen. I can view these albums on my iPhone or iPad so I know they are still in the cloud but file explorer can no longer communicate with them.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. We see that File Explorer isn't allowing you to navigate between albums on your PC.
