Anybody any idea how to do this please. I do not wish to receive or make voice or video calls on Messenger but cannot for the life of me find where and how to turn it off or block or basically just stop them. Help would be appreciated please. Applies to both ipad and iphone 11.

Turn off your Wifi or Mobile Data on your phone and you will not get any video calls on Messenger.
Or block the person that you do not wish to receive those.
I don’t want to block a particular person nor do I wish not to make use of messenger so pointless turning off WiFi and data. I just don’t want to make or receive calls via messenger. Is this possible without your somewhat drastic suggestion?
Thanks for your help @Patricia. That’s a real pain. I already have enough voice and video avenues and only want messenger for just that, messages. Used to be able to disable voice and video calls before the FB change to this new format. Backward step and less personal control in my view. Oh well, it is what it. Thanks again.
