macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur Home App Homekit and PS Remote Play problem

Hi,

I got a problem after upgrade to macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur in my MacBook Pro 13" 2018. I can't use the Home app, it can't see any device in my local network, otherwise, Home app in my iPhone Xr with iOS 14.2 it works fine.

The same problem occurs when I try to use PS Remote Play on Big Sur. It can't find my Playstation 4 console in my local network and after open the recommended ports on my Internet Gateway Device the connection is only possible through the Internet.

I noticed not all my devices are visible trough Bonjour protocol using Discovery app on Big Sur. My iPhone iOS 14.2 show all my Bonjour devices but macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur can't.

Anyone else?

Exactly the same - Bonjour is seriously broken on Big Sur, but for me it is also broken on iOS14.x but not to the same extent.

On iOS14.x, occasionally all ipv4 bonjour will disappear and a quick off/on of wifi restores things, but on Big Sur on Apple Silicon it happens within about 20 seconds of 'fixing' it by off/on of wifi so it's literally unusable. Interestingly I don't have this problem on my Intel MB Pro, just the Apple Silicon one.

Pretty major defect and quite stunning that it hasn't been found in Apple's testing so far. Just downloading 11.1 now to see if that addresses things for the MB, similarly downloading 14.3 for the iPhone.

And to add insult to injury, literally as I was typing this the screen saver activated on the MBPro and wouldn't go away! Had to close the lid and reopen it to get things going again. Grrrr.......

I can't auto-map UPnP ports too.

I found this https://support.google.com/chromecast/thread/82779618?hl=en. It seems Bonjour is really broken on macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur. Waiting for a fix.

Agreed. Still totally broken on 11.1

How on earth can Apple not know about this and not have fixed such a serious problem, especially with flagship Apple Silicon - works fine on my old Intel MB Pro :(

At this morning this problem was solved for me without any action. I could use Home App on my MacBook Pro 13" 2018 and all my devices were there, both IPv4 and IPv6. I tried use Discovery App to see all Bonjour devices on my local network and they were there too.

PS Remote App is working too. Connecting from local network and not from internet like before.

I am having EXACTLY the same preoblem. Home shows up on iPhone and iPad but not on MacBook Air M1 on 11.0.1

How can I fix this?

I thing the problem is about IPv4 Bonjour devices. Big Sur is showing only IPv6 Bonjour devices. I tried to use dns-sd tool and only can see IPv6 services.
