apple tv and BBC iPlayer

Exactly the same problem on 4 devices - 2 iPhones and two iPads. iOS 14.2 and latest version of iPlayer. No problems with earlier downloads either. Have tried all the suggested fixes to no avail. Help too!

Surely it can’t just be the two of us?! I’m still not sure if it’s an apple or a BBC issue as the 14.2 update and iPlayer update came pretty close together. If you’re not getting much help from Apple I think I’ll see if the Beeb know any more about it.
