Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I am trying to stop Slack notifications for a few hours, but I still get the badge in the dock, even though I have "do not disturb" set on my macbook pro Catalina (10.15.7 (19H15)), 15 inch 2017
I can't check other notifications as they are all off, is there a setting I need to change to avoid this?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about an issue you're having with badge notifications on your Mac. We'd be glad to provide you with some info.
So when Do Not Disturb is on, it'll keep the notifications in the upper right from showing or making sound when they arrive. Currently, the only way to turn off badges appearing on the Dock is to manually turn off badges for that specific app in System Preferences > Notifications > Slack. If that's something you'd like to see added in a future release, be sure to leave Product Feedback.
