I keep getting a message when I click on Buy Calendar after creating in Photos, it says App is updating store is not available right now. Is this a glitch?

Apple stopped any support for print products after September 30, 2018. Since then we have to use third party project extensions to order print products from Photos. These project extensions are only available in Photos 3 or newer. You would have to upgrade to macOS 10.13 or later to be able to order print products.

Hi - is that trying to order from Apple?
As I understand it, apple are no longer offering print services, and have removed the facility from later versions of the photos app. Now when you try to create such a project, it is necessary to install a plugin from a third party provider, from the app store..
Are you able to create a PDF file for that book? ➙ Try holding down the Option key and click on the Buy Book button. That will give you a PDF file that is the same as was uploaded to Apple when they were still offering print services.
If so there's a 3rd party book provider which used to do the printing for Apple as a sub-contractor, Mimeo, that will take PDF files created by iPhoto and Photos and print and bind books and calendars.
Also you can upload the PDF file to PrestoPhotos which can also print and bind books and calendars from iPhoto or Photos pdf files. They've been doing it for some time now.
