I've got a question. Let's say I purchase a USB 3.20 gen 2x2 External SSD like Firecuda with R/W speed around 2000mb/s, will it be compatible with M1 Mac Mini? It has a thunderbolt port/USB 4.

Okay. But what will happen if I connect a USB 3.2 gen 2x2 External SSD with max 20GB/s?
Because if USB 4 is backward compatible, it should support 3.2 gen 2x2.
