Green stripes iphone X screen

Guys, after 3 years, my iphone x started showing some green stripes at the screen! Searching for it, I discovered the acknowledgement of Apple about this issue but, for my surprise, they are not taking any action! I visit an Apple store today in Rome-Italy and they told me there was nothing they could do...just charge for the screen replace because it is not under warranty anymore! So...my questions is, you buy a car...then the company discovers that there is a problem, they start a recall right? And your car does not have to be under warranty! But Apple does? Nothing! They know it is a quality problem (their problem) but they pretende there is no problem at all! Another point, you buy an Iphone paying a fortune believing in their quality and then, you discover that the quality lasts (praying hard) just 1 year! Because if it is out of warranty, even though is a quality problem, they do nothing to fix it! It means I have to buy an Iphone every year because it is lacking quality of the components? Frankly I was expecting more from you Apple! Really disappointed! For the price you are charging to fix YOUR problem, I may buy a new mobile phone, perhaps with a better quality of the components! Sorry but my marriage with Apple finishes here!
