Your 2020 4 TB port MacBook Pro can drive one external display at 5K or two at 4K (but not two at 5K, although the 16” can drive two at 6K or four at 4K).
When it says "one at 5K" it means that if you set the first screen resolution to 5K, the second screen does not light up, at all.
