Random explicit videos popping up

I have been having pornographic videos randomly popping up on safari. Most recently happened while I was at work which is very unacceptable. After researching, I have blocked pop ups and adult websites in my settings. I’m worried that maybe I’ve been hacked or downloaded some sort of malware. Should that be enough, or do I need to reset/wipe clean my whole phone? Worried about losing stuff if do a factory reset.
