How to make more comfortable display?

There are a few settings that you can use in Display, there are also some in Accessibility if you are having difficulty with the display. True tone is one, and if needed, there are additional contrast settings. Some people have troubles with the newer screens, but they are used in the iPhone and other devices as well.

Open Settings ➔ Display & Brightness : Here make all adjustments necessary to make the display better for your eyes.

Those would be up to you, based on what makes it easiest to view the screen. Everyone is different. I'm able to keep my display brightness lower than a lot of people I know. It makes it easier for me to read. Just take and keep trying different settings until you are comfortable. You may even want to try turning off True Tone. Some people have difficulty with OLED displays.
