Education Pricing in Canada

I'm currently an international student going to Canada, and enrolled for the semester starting on Janauary 5, 2021. I ordered a Macbook Pro 13" with Educational Pricing. Expected shipping date is on January 1, 2021.

It is to be delivered to my Aunt's house (with her credentials), where I'll be staying, because they might need signature for the delivery and I might not be available (in mandatory quarantine). My flight is scheduled in early December.

How will you, Apple Canada, know I'm qualified for the discounted price? If I need to submit papers to prove so, where will I reach out?

If, in the event, that I'm not qualified, will my order get cancelled? Or will I be billed for the original amount?

Thanks, in advance, for the clarification.

Firstly, you have addressed this to Apple but it is a public discussion board of volunteers and the interested. If you have a question for Apple Canada they quote their phone number on the MacBook Pro page as 1-800-MY-APPLE

You do not mention where you made the order. If you are not in Canada then you may have a phone number from your order.

Ring them for advice or updates on your order.

Co-incidentally, I rang Apple Australia yesterday about my daughter making an education order for a Mac. The process here was that the order is placed via the link to the Australian educational Apple online store with an upload or email to Apple of a scan of the university student card as proof of entitlement of the discounted price. The documentation will be verified and approved by Apple before the order is progressed. As I am paying for the Mac on my credit card the billing address will be assigned to me, but the delivery address is to my daughter, the student - at the same house as it happens.

The order will be delivered by courier with a signature required.

Please tell us if your ordering experience was different.
