Unable to remove quarter moon “Do not Disturb” icon

How do you remove the Do not Disturb icon if Do not Disturb is already turned off AND there is no “I” or the word “Details” anywhere on the screen of this one contact’s text message?

Slide that contacts text message to the left in the main Messages window and then tap the bell icon.
