I purchased my Series 6 watch from Target a couple weeks ago. Target does not offer AppleCare+. Can I purchase AppleCare + from Walmart, it’s delivered via email, and add the protection to my watch or must I purchase directly through Apple at this point? I’m only asking because my CC is offering 5% cash back on Walmart & PayPal purchases so every little bit of savings is nice.

We understand that you would like to purchase AppleCare+ for your Apple Watch that has already been purchased from Target. AppleCare+ can be purchased within 30 days of your Apple Watch purchase but would need to be purchased through Apple. You can learn more from Buy an AppleCare plan.
We noticed that Walmart does sell AppleCare+ as you mentioned. However, according to the following help page, it cannot be post-purchased - Welcome to the Walmart Help Center
