when is apple going to fix the big sur update not found

I have been trying to download Mac OS big sur on my Mac book pro and it tells me every time update not found.

if it says update not found, it may be that your mac is not compatible. here's the page where you can check compatibility and find the download to do it if it is.

FWIW, there is some indication early MacBook Pros are being precluded from installing Big Sur because of problems. No word on when or if that may change.
