APPLE TV 4K frame rate and dynamic range matching OK????

These are my settings:

4K SDR 50HZ

dynamic range on

frame rate on

Why is always my tv receiving the image in 4K SDR 50 HZ ?

Doesn't have the Apple TV 4k turn to 1080 or lower if the content is not 4k?

Because I'm beginning to think that dynamic range on and frame rate on doesn't work at all.

Apple TV 4K will output all content in 4K, if that is your resolution setting. That means 1080p content will be upscaled before sending it to the 4K TV screen.

Match frame rate would try to use 24 fps or 25 fs or 30 fps if that is the content’s native frame rate.

Match dynamic range will use HDR10 or Dolby Vision, if the content is available as such AND your TV is capable of that format.

Dynamic range and frame rate have nothing to do with the resolution.
