I purchased a new Mac mini with the M1 processor in hopes that it would be able to drive by UltraWide LG monitor at 5120 x 1440 resolution. I'm running the latest Big Sur.
I don't get any options in Display Preferences. The only resolution I get 3840 × 1080.
Is it possible to get 5120 x 1440 resolution?

I have the same setup. SwitchResX worked for me enabling me to run the LG 49 ultra wide at 5120 x 1440.
Did you get it to work with Resolutionator or SwitchResX? I am looking at getting the same setup.

I don't know it will support that resolution but there are a couple third party utilities that might help you. Resolutionator by Many Tricks and SwitchResX. They will allow you to change resolutions. Try one of those out.
